English Language Learners enjoyed making cascarones which are traditionally made around Easter time. Students filled colored eggshells with confetti and candy and then sealed the egg with tissue paper. It is tradition to crack the egg over someone’s head to give them good luck.

Parachutes and music are always a good time! Students in Mrs. Ziola's music classes are exploring the form of the music while moving with a parachute. Repeated sections in the song are assigned the same action. Students have to work cooperatively to make the parachute look artful. The laughter is an added bonus! #CultureOfConfidence

Mrs. Lee's 7th grade ELA classes have been participating in the "Argument Olympics." Students were asked the question, "Are athletic games or virtual games more beneficial for the future of kids?" They used their unit stories to state their claim, citing evidence from those stories to support their claim. They listened to each other's evidence, and voted on medalists. Here are our medal winners for citing evidence. Gold - Evan Silver - Charlie Bronze - Regina Gold - Macy Silver - Sara Bronze - Haidyn We love to see our students applying skills in fun and engaging ways! #CultureOfConfidence
