Superintendent Contract Notice

The following information is posted to ensure school district compliance with Neb.Rev.St. § 79-2402.  

In 2014 the Nebraska Legislature passed, and the Governor signed into law, LB 470, which is also known as the Superintendent Pay Transparency Act.  This state statute requires the following procedure for school boards prior to approval of proposed contracts for superintendent services.  

Publish at least three days prior to the board meeting  at which the contract or amendment will be considered:

  • The date, time, and place of the meeting;

  • A copy of the proposed contract or amendment; and

  • A reasonable estimate and description of all current and future costs to the district if contract or amendment is approved.

 

Notice is hereby given that Ogallala Public Schools has approval of a proposed superintendent employment contract/contract amendment on its agenda for the board meeting to be held on December 19th, 2022 at 5:30 pm in the Prairie View Elementary Board Room located at 801 E. O St. Ogallala, NE.
