OHS FB had an incredible season but fell short to the Auburn Bulldogs, 32-36. The team played hard every drive until the last second. We are so proud of this team & the passion, dedication, & drive every single player & coach had this season. #ImpactFootball #CultureOfConfidence

Prairie View students are able to learn about the 6-Healthy Habits from UNL Extension Educators! The lessons involve different healthy habit topics: MyPlate, fruits/vegetables, whole grains, sugars in beverages, serving sizes, and reading a nutrition foods label. The goal of the program is to reach the families of students with positive, healthy habit topics.

OHS students had the opportunity to participate in the EXCEL (Exploring Careers and Education Locally) Tour! We appreciate the hosting of the event by MPCC (Ogallala Campus) and Keith County Area Development!

Mrs. Fehr's kindergarten students explored the shapes and patterns that could be found in sunflowers! While outside completing their investigation, they ran into second grade! 2nd grade students were so excited to join in on the learning and fun!

The OHS Marching Indians received a Superior rating for their final performance of the 2023 season at the Nebraska State Bandmaster’s Festival in Kearney! We are so proud of this group and appreciate all their dedication to all things OPSD. Way to go, O!

OHS FB ends their regular season with a fantastic 28-14 win against the Holdrege Dusters! This earned them a 7-2 record for regular season play. The team will begin playoffs next week- we will pass details along as they become available.

Prairie View Elementary has been awarded the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program grant this school year! Students will receive a free fresh fruit or vegetable snack in the afternoon, four days per week. Teachers will provide nutrition education activities in the classroom to increase students’ knowledge of the health benefits of eating fruits and vegetables. We are excited to introduce our students to a variety of unique fruits and vegetables this school year! #FFVP #NESchoolMealsRock
