2nd Grade students had the opportunity to learn about fire safety from Forest Ranger Craig Eddie! Mr. Eddie presented many important concepts to our second graders about how they can make a difference and stay safe. We appreciate Forest Ranger Eddie coming to Prairie View! #CultureOfConfidence

💭Did You Know?💭 OPSD has lowered its levy 8 years in a row! In 2018/19 the total levy was 1.07. In 2023/24 the total levy was .82. Next year's levy will be .75. #CultureOfConfidence

🍫 OHS FBLA will be going Trick or Treating! 🍭 But they will be asking for canned donations to deliver to the Keith County Food Pantry! Students will be trick-or-treating on Wednesday, October 30th. They will start at 5:30 and conclude at 7:00. Students will trick or treat Skyline (across from the hospital), the area between OHS and PV, Foxhaven, and the area around Kathleen Lute Library. If students don't stop by your house but you'd like to make a donation, please drop donations off at OHS! We appreciate your support of our students! #CultureOfConfidence

Our Prairie View Ambassadors are proud to lead a project focused on Kids with Character! This month, we highlighted ⭐️RESPECT⭐️ by reaching out to community members who make a difference every day. As a token of our appreciation, our students presented donuts and a thank-you letter to our local police officers. After observing respectful behaviors all month, the Ambassadors also selected one student who stood out as a role model, naming her the winner of our Kids with Character program. We are so proud of ⭐️Elise Samuelson⭐️ for being selected as our RESPECT winner and for representing the values of our school community! #CultureOfConfidence

OHS XC runner, Sawyer Laflan competed at the State Meet yesterday! Sawyer ran hard and earned a 24th place finish (out of 116 runners)! We are so proud of the season you've had, Sawyer! 👏🏼 #CultureOfConfidence

OHS Football hit the road for their last regular season game. The team traveled to Alliance and came home with a shut out!! They took down the Bulldogs 36-0! What a great conclusion to the regular season. We are proud of you!!! 👏🏼 #CultureOfConfidence

At the October OPSD School Board meeting, the board honored 3 model students and one dedicated staff member! These students & staff have shown what it means to do things “The OG Way.” They are risk-takers in and out of the classroom, show grit in all they do, and take ownership of their learning. We are so proud of our October students of the month, Lily Wood (elementary), Riggs O'Neil (middle grades), Bradyn Heilman (high school), and staff of the month, Nichole Doherty! School Resource Officer Molzahnand Middle School Counselor, Jill Max, presented to all middle schoolers on internet safety. Officer M presented on the legal and logistical side of internet safety, while Mrs. Max presented on the social/emotional side of internet safety. The pair was able to make a lasting impact on the students! #CultureOfConfidence

Students are invited to partipcate in the themed dress up days! ◆Marvelous Monday - Favorite Super Hero ◆Thoughtful Tuesday - Bright attire to brighten someone's day ◆Wellness Wednesday - Take care of mind & body, wear workout gear ◆Thursday - It's ok to be different!
