Veterans Day was celebrated with OHS Unified Bowling team bowling against North Platte,South Platte, Scottsbluff, and Gorden-Rushville. Ogallala Team 2, with Joshua C., Christian E., Austin H., and Isaac O. placed third! 🥉

Mrs. Max's 1st-grade students had the opportunity to show what they learned in their science module by creating models of plant and animal defenses (spikes, camouflage, and shells). The students then had the opportunity to present their model to the class! We love this hands-on style of showing what they learned!
OHS Interact is partnering with Ogallala Rotary Club and Lake Mac Rotaract to facilitate the Purple Pinky Project! Students can "Donate, Dip, & Destroy" on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 7:30-8:00 at the PV Cafeteria!

On Tuesday November 7, the OHS Unified Bowling teams bowled in North Platte against North Platte and South Platte. The OHS team #1, consisting of Austin H., Alex T., and Joshua C won the triangular!

📣Activity update for the week of November 6.
Mrs Peck’s WIN class has been reading about dogs that provide a service to others. They are learning about the different types of working dogs, such as guide dogs, military assist dogs, service dogs, and therapy dogs. Prairie View’s own therapy dog, Gibbs, thought it would be a perfect time for a classroom visit! The students were so excited to see Gibbs hard at work!
Today our OMG Wrestlers competed at the Bluffs Middle School Wrestling Meet. This was the team's first meet. The boys and girls all wrestled really well! The team came home with three wrestlers earning medals!
