The OMS HAL Science Olympiad team showed what dedication and hard work can accomplish at the Regional Meet in Ogallala on 4/8. These students have put in countless hours preparing, problem-solving, and pushing themselves to improve, and it showed in a big way!

Prairie View students in Kindergarten-6th grade had the opportunity to learn from our School Resource Officer, Sergeant Rowley, about bike and scooter safety!
Students built their knowledge on how to ride safely and follow the rules of the road, skills that help keep them (and others) safe every time they head out for a ride.
Before they hit the pavement, here are a few key reminders:
• Always wear a helmet
• Look both ways before crossing streets
• Ride on the right side and follow traffic rules
• Stay alert and watch for cars, driveways, and pedestrians
