🏐 FAQs 🏐
→Why cancel school for this event?
With an exclusively team competition such as volleyball, football, and basketball, we have the most students participating and spectators attending. We also have band, cheer, and dance teams invited to perform at these activities. The number of students and staff attending it makes it difficult to have a productive school day. We do our best to support all activities & we encourage students and staff to attend these functions.
→When will the first game be played?
The first round of the State Volleyball Tournament will be on Wednesday, November 5th, in Lincoln. The time and location will be announced once brackets are finalized.
→Will school activities or practices still take place on these days off?
If school is canceled, all school-related activities will be communicated separately by coaches or sponsors.
→If the team loses on Wednesday, will we have school on Thursday and Friday?
Yes. If the team does not advance, school will be in session as usual on Thursday and Friday.
→Will there be a way to watch or stream the games?
Yes! NSAA will provide livestream options. Links will be shared on our social media pages once available.
→Will the days off need to be made up later?
At this time, these will be treated as “no school” days and will not be added to the end of the school year. If anything changes, families will be notified.
💪 Let’s go, Lady Indians!
Show your pride, pack the stands, and bring the energy to Lincoln! 🧡🖤
