Mrs. Waitleys walk-to-learn reading students had the opportunity to choose an “I Survived” book to read. Students were able to choose from the Battle of Gettysburg, American Revolution, or D-Day books. After working very hard on their book study, they chose a final project, that allowed them to show their creative side! They shared them with the class and they are now on display in the library for all students to enjoy! #CultureOfConfidence

Aspen, a PVE 2nd grade student, chose to use her PBIS points helping Mrs. Max in the library! Aspen was super helpful with book collection, book check-in, and greeting library patrons with a sweet smile! #CultureOfConfidence

PV 5th grade student, Bailey, used her PBIS points to interview a very special PV Staff Member.... Gibbs Good Boy Max! Gibbs was very talkative and provided Bailey with lots of insight on being a school therapy dog! #CultureOfConfidence

🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏆 Huge congratulations to the OHS Science Olympiad team for clinching FIRST PLACE overall at the recent ESU16 Science Olympiad Invite! 🥇 Not only did the team secure the top spot, but we also saw multiple individual medals and several event teams earn 1st place finishes! Mrs. Lee's 6th period ELA class won third quarter's Jolly Rancher Wars! These students have shown what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe in the classroom. They were consistent in their efforts and were rewarded with a pizza and movie party! A special shoutout goes to Casey's for donating the pizzas!
