Mrs. Laflan’s 3rd-grade students had the opportunity to use a vocabulary strategy that Mrs. Laflan learned at the Get Your Teach On Conference in Las Vegas. Students used Play Doh to represent a vocabulary word. Students were able to show deeper level thinking as they had to know the meaning of the word in order to create their model! We love this hands on strategy to practice something as simple as vocabulary words!
