Ogallala One Act placed 4th at the State Contest in Norfolk! A huge congratulations to all the students who won outstanding performance award at the state play production contest on Friday Dec. 9th: Kaden Walker, Erica Hesser, Caleb Most, Evan Jones, Isabella Holthusen, Ashley Pluard, Tylee Wang, Michael Tophoj, Tallulah McKeag stood in for Jamie Krab. Jamie had to leave the state awards to play basketball. Way to go, big O!

Canterbury Tales By Geoffrey Chaucer Ogallala Theater Department started to compete with their one act play in November. They first went to North Platte on November 12th. There they placed second with the following students winning outstanding performances: Erica Hesser, Tylee Wang, Michael Tophoj, Ashley Pluard, Kooper Williams, Evan Jones, Bella Holthusen, Caleb Most, Harry Caskey, Thomas Parrin, Merritt Skinner, Ian Brunkhorst, Peyton Rapp, Griffen Schrotberger, Mykah Eastman, Inigo Pintado, Hailey Webber, Hailey Law, Zaiden Peterson, Barrett Renfro, Morgan Lile, Kyra Skiles, Peyton Jehorek, Reegan DeVries, Becca Rosno, Grace Jones, Laney Caskey, Paige Aromijo, Daelyn Krajewski, Kassie Hernandez-Willis, Jadynn Johorek, Lindee Henning, Jasmine Biel, Tylie Walker, Maya Williams, Sadie Flansburg, Parker Catlin, Jialisia Rosales. On Nov. 21st we went to Valentine and competed in Southwest Conference Contest, placing 2nd behind Mindon. The following students received outstand performance awards: Kaden Walker, Erica Hesser, Iziaha Skiles, Tayvin Lutz, Isabelle Rodriquez, Lauren Henning, Michael Tophoj, Harry Caskey, Ashley Pluard, Hayden Walburn, Jamie Krab, Gavin Anderson, Kiara McGuire, Caleb Most, Evan Jones, Bella Holthusen, Anica Bush, Ella Mueller, Olivia Benge, Hayden Ervin, and Gracie Hulinsky. On Dec.21st we attended the B-6 District in Sidney where we placed 1st with perfect scores from all three judges. They following students were awarded outstanding performance awards: Anica Bush, Olivia Benge, HAyden Ervin, Lauren Henning, Erica Hesser, Isabella Holthusen, Gracie Hulinsky, Evan Jones, Kiara McGuire, Ella Mueller, Ashley Pluard, Michael Tophoj, Kaden Walker, Tylee Wang, Kooper Williams.

Joshua, a Prairie View 3rd grade student, solved a 2 x 2 Rubiks Cube during S.T.E.A.M. in the PV Library! We love seeing our students do hands-on learning!

OHS Bowlers are off to State Unified Bowling. Monday morning they will bowl 6 games starting at 8:30CT, then move to bracket play. The team that wins 3 out of 5 games move on in the bracket. The team is hoping to earn back-to-back state championship titles! Best of luck, bowlers!
