We want to introduce you to our SENSATIONAL K-5 Specials Team!! Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. Ziola, and Mr. Mumm engage students in a wide variety of ways! Students look forward to their engaging and exciting lessons! #CultureOfConfidence
Mrs. Lee’s 8th grade ELA classes are using their inference skills to investigate who kidnapped the principal! They are reading information about the suspects, examining evidence, reading interviews, choosing a perspective, and writing a story about what actually happened to the principal. We love seeing our students highly engaged in their learning!

We want to introduce you to our FABULOUS Fourth-Grade Team!! Mrs. Orth, Mrs. Saults, and Mrs. England strive to create authentic learning experiences for their students! #CultureOfConfidence
The OMG Builders Club collected coins for Zambia, raising $412.34 to help fund better education and health care in Zambia. The grades competed to see who could earn the most. The 6th graders brought in most, collecting over $100! They were rewarded with a caramel apple party sponsored by the Prairie View PTO.

Did you know that in the last month, students at Prairie View Elementary have had the good fortune to try kiwi, pears, celery, bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and bananas (to name a few)?! This opportunity is part of the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, a grant funded by the USDA. Thanks to all who supported the Elementary Ambassadors bake sale. The group sold out of all of their goodies! They will not have anything for sale on Monday.

Prairie View Librarian Mrs. Armstrong teaches a STEAM class. Each class goes once every three weeks. The students can engage with many different materials, be risk-takers, and try new things! These students showcased their building skills (it appears we've got some future engineers)!
The OHS Mock Trial team has qualified for Region II FINALS! Come out and see them Monday, at 4:00 CST in the Lincoln County (North Platte) Courthouse. Way to go, O!!!

We are excited to announce that OHS Senior, Marlee Ervin, has decided to further her academic & volleyball career at Southern Utah University. Marlee will be part of the D1 SUU Volleyball Team. We are SO proud of you, Marlee! #CultureOfConfidence
During the month of October, Mrs. Hesser’s 2nd-grade students worked hard writing haunted house stories. This week, the students had the opportunity to showcase their work by shutting off the lights and using a flashlight to read their stories to their classmates!
