Great day at the Cozad invite. Starting with our OHS Wrestling Team! JV boys had multiple placers out of the young wrestlers. For our three varsity boys, we had sophomore Trey Kirchner step up and place 5th. We have the twin duo, Jorge and Pedro Carrizales, coming home with the gold. Congratulations to Pedro for also earning the title of the outstanding wrestler of the tournament in a close one vote over his brother. He later decided to share that moment with him.
Our word of the year is “legacy,” and our boys rose to the occasion yesterday and continue to show what Ogallala Wrestling is all about.
