Joslyn led the team with a 97, earning 7th place, followed closely by Evann with a 98 and a 9th-place finish!

A strong finish for our OMS 8th grade volleyball team in Sidney this weekend!

Kindness is filling buckets in Ms. Johnson’s kindergarten class! 🧡
Last week, students learned how their words and actions can help fill someone else’s imaginary bucket. They created their own buckets, then put kindness into action by going around the classroom and filling their classmates’ buckets with kind words and messages.
It’s a simple lesson with a BIG impact: kindness matters, and we all have the power to make someone’s day a little brighter!

OHS Girls Golf are TEAM CHAMPS at Perkins County Tournament, hosted at Pheasant Run Golf Course!
It was a beautiful day on the course in Grant, and the Lady Indians made the most of it! The team brought home 1st place with a team score of 450, with three golfers finishing in the Top 10!

Look who several OMS staff got to meet! Former Nebraska Volleyball Head Coach John Cook was the keynote speaker at ESU 16 PLC Day in Hershey, and our OMS crew had the chance to meet him!

What happens to pollution when wind and water get involved? Mrs. Sylvester’s 5th-grade scientists put it to the test! Students created gusts of wind and water currents to observe how far “model” plastic pollution could travel.
The hands-on investigation is part of their study of Earth’s water and the impact microplastics can have on keeping our water clean. By testing, observing, and making connections, these students are seeing how forces in nature can move pollution far beyond where it started.
