A vision years in the making became a reality on Thursday, August 20, as the first class of students walked through the doors of Tiny Trails Early Learning Center.
Before welcoming its first students, Ogallala Public Schools celebrated this exciting milestone with a community ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event brought together many of the individuals, organizations, businesses, and community partners whose generosity and commitment helped transform Tiny Trails from an idea into a place where young children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Tiny Trails would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community. Partners and supporters included Keith County Area Development, Keith County Community Foundation, Communities for Kids, Adams Bank & Trust, Pinnacle Bank, ASC, Banner Health, Ivy Trust, Hanich Trust, the Ogallala Optimist Club, Ogallala Public Schools Board of Education, City of Ogallala, Keith County Chamber of Commerce, Keith County News, Zink Painting, Willow & Oak, Youth Inspired Philanthropy, Keith County employees, PreK Design Team, school district employees, and many others.
Some contributed financially. Others gave their time, professional expertise, energy, resources, or encouragement. Every contribution played an important role in bringing this project to life.
Tiny Trails represents more than the opening of a new building. It represents an investment in our youngest learners, local families, and the future of the Ogallala community. Because of the unwavering support behind this project, generations of children will have a welcoming place to begin building the skills, confidence, and relationships that will carry them throughout their educational journey.
To everyone who helped make this moment possible, thank you. The doors are officially open, the classrooms are filled, and a new journey has begun.
