Mike Copeman, custodian at Ogallala High School, began his OPS career at Prairie View in 2010 part time before moving to the full time high school position. Mr. Copeman has been a driving force to ensure the high school is kept in tip top shape. Mike is more than your 'cleaning' custodian---he has completed woodworking projects, installed lockers, and does an excellent job painting and floor finishing; including carpet laying. Mike's dedication to quality work is second to none.

In addition to the skills necessary to be a school building custodian nominators also stated his pleasant attitude and willingness to assist teachers and students in any projects is invaluable. He has a "jolly laugh" and always "lightens the mood" around the building. Mr. Copeman takes pride in his job and is proactive in ensuring needs are met to keep the building looking sharp and being safe for all who enter.

Teachers and students are grateful to have such a hard worker on staff!
