6017 Homework

Homework consists of assignments made by teachers that students must complete during non-class time. Homework is intended to ensure student learning of certain concepts and/or skills found in the written and taught curriculum.

Teachers are encouraged to assign homework and must use their professional judgment in determining the length, difficulty, and student readiness to proceed with homework assignments in consultation with administration. Homework assignments shall be kept minimal on Wednesday nights, which is traditionally considered “family night” in the community.
