Vacation Leave

District employees, whether classified or administrative staff, who are entitled to vacation leave, shall be granted 10 days of vacation per year, unless a separate, specific employment contract call of a different number of days. Classified staff members who work 12 months per year are also granted 1 additional day of vacation for every five years of employment with the district. If an employee does not use his/her allowed vacation days, the employee may accumulate earned but unused vacation days up to a total of _15__. Additional vacation days shall not be granted until unused vacation days have been utilized by the employee and then the employee shall receive only such number of vacation days _15___.

The Superintendent’s vacation leave shall be granted at 20 days per year. Additional days shall not be granted until unused days have been utilized.
