Was a great day for tennis.  Weather was awesome and the girls got 5 matches (37 games) playing different opponents under their belts.  Coach Mestl and I were really encouraged by the improvement all of these girls have made since the 1st week of the season.  They are coming along at a good pace and today was invaluable in terms of on-court experience.  Today was so much more than a win/loss record. They all did some really good things, but of course, there are skills we need to work on.

We need to focus on playing offensive rather than always being on the defense. We need to work on being more consistent with serving and being able to transfer what we work on in practice to live matches. This will come with more maturity and experience.
