OHS SWC Champs

Ogallala High School placed 1st at the Southwest Conference Speech meet in Broken Bow on Monday, they received 376 points, Minden placed second with 311 and Gothenburg 3rd with 287.  The following students from Ogallala placed:

 
Humorous Prose: Parker Reil 1st, Hailey Babish 3rd
Poetry: Abigail Tschetter 1st, Enya Svoboda 2nd
Entertainment: Hailey Babish 1st, Parker Reil 2nd
Persuasive: 6th Jack Lindgren
Informative Speaking: Amanda Most 5th, Emma Krab 6th
Extemp. 5th Emma Krab, 6th Jack Lindgren
Duet Acting: 2nd Lupe Perez, Jordan Delahunty
4th DeVere Larington and Jordyn Kenkel
Oral Interp of Drama: 2nd Maylee Garcia, Enya Svoboda, Abigail Tschetter, Amanda Most and Ben Thalken
3rd: Casey Hinton, Zach Burnside, Lupe Perez, Brennan Halligan and DeVere Larington

Duet Acting: Lupe Perez and Jordan Delahunty, 10th
Informative Public Address: Emma Krab, 6th
Extemp.: 7th, Jack Lindgren.  Emma Krab 12th
Serious Prose: Halle Tophoj, 4th. Rachel Orth, 11th
Poetry: 3rd, Abigail Tschetter. 11th, Jordyn Kenkel. Enya Svoboda, 12th
Oral Interp. of Drama: 7th, Lupe Perez, Breanna Halligan, Zach Burnside, DeVere Larington and Casey Hinton.10th, Jordan Delahunty, James Delahunty, Jordan McCormick  and Hailey Babish
 
The team will be going to Broken Bow to compete in the Southwest Conference Speech Meet this week on Monday, March 6th.
